Jeeze, ever since I have been in tech support via chat and email (no phone call-ins) I have hardly had any time to draw. I hope all my old Deviant Art friends had (or are having) a great holiday season and have a great New Year. I was hoping to post more art this past year, but so many things have happened which made it almost impossible. In the past year I had to get my computer room ready so I could work at home, had to set up a chain-link fence in my yard, get our tenant part of the house ready for renting out, and get the house deleaded and vinyl siding added. The volume of customers we have now for work has been almost constant too. I used to be able to draw while working when I did tech support over the phone. But now, since I am in chat and email I can no longer draw while I work. That in the main reason I had not enough time to draw. Hopefully I will find more time this coming year to add more of my artwork. I do have one piece that I started in 2005 that I hope to finish soon. My son and wife are doing well. My son is a real joker and smart too. That makes for a real fun time. It looks like he may be into drawing and PCs too.

I hope everyone has a great New Year. The past year was extremely busy and frustrating for us due to the flood that occurred in New England. We own a two family house and were updating our rental unit (so we could place it on the market for rent). It rained for days, but luckily we had our sump pump running in the basement. Unfortunately the sump pump's hose backed itself into the basement, in turn feeding the water back in the house. This caused two feet of water to fill up in the basement. The water destroyed a lot of our storage, such as wedding stuff, baby stuff, Christmas stuff, Halloween stuff, collectables and old game systems. We spent 4 days trying to clear all the contaminated items from the cellar, then spraying for mold. I threw out 84 bags of trash that week. We needed to replace a dryer, 2 water heaters and a furnace. Fortunately we had some help from my wife's father who is a plumber along with my uncle who is a fireman. Other family members helped too. Luckily my wife, son and I are in good health at least. We decided this year we will fix up the house, then sell it in a year or two. This is why I have not posted much artwork or have not updated my journal. This year I do hope to post more art and say hello to my friends here at Deviant Art. The past two years have been full of quite a few changes. Three of my grandparents passed away, my aunt passed away, we had a baby boy, I got a promotion at work and we bought my grandparents house. Now that things are starting to settle down, I am going to try and post more artwork. Also, this year I am going to try and promote and sell my art. My book has not been completed like I thought it was. However, this allowed me to add 10 more characters to it. That will be a continued project. I should also have more time to post and browse other galleries.

My wife got her ultrasound and IT'S A BOY!

Eeee gadzzz! Sorry I haven't written to any of you in quite some time. The holidays were busier than they've ever been for the fact that WE"RE GOING TO HAVE A BABY!!!!!!!! I've been visiting family and friends that I haven't seen in quite some time. Not a whole lot of time to do stuff on the net. Also I've been busy planning my mothers 60th birthday party too (with the help of my wife, brother and sister). I hope you all had a great holiday season. I will comment and post art soon. By the way, my calendar design for my company won for October (like they had a choice for the month. December wouldn't have worked at all). They're going to give me and a few other company reps prizes for their artwork this Thursday, but I won't be there at the party because Jill and I are going to find out if we're having a boy or girl. I'll keep you all posted. Hope all is well and have a good one!
